Commencement Volunteer Training

Join President Martin Schmidt ’81 as we throw it back to our NRB Welcome Fest. Enjoy food from various vendors, lawn games, and music as we approach Commencement! Restrictions: No guests, student ID required for check-in. Register at https://www.alumni.rpi.edu/NWB25.

Rehearsal will be held on Tuesday, May 6, at ECAV arena. Undergraduate and graduate students are asked to attend at 11 a.m. While we do expect graduates to attend the rehearsal, we realize that people have special circumstances that may prohibit them from attending.

The Zero Year Reunion is a traditional senior event that directly follows your Commencement rehearsal; you won’t want to miss it! As you leave Commencement rehearsal, the party kicks off! The Young Alumni Council will be on hand to welcome you to the Rensselaer Alumni Association ranks.

Join us at the Intercultural Celebration, as part of the RPI Graduating Student Week, honoring the achievements of graduating students from marginalized backgrounds!

Celebrating Rensselaer students of the LGBTQ+ community, Lavender Graduation is sure to be an inclusive and celebratory experience! We look forward to acknowledging your accomplishments and evolutions into college graduates of Rensselaer.

ECSE Commencement Luncheon

The Department of Mechanical, Aerospace and Nuclear Engineering Commencement Reception. This event is by invitation only. Thursday May 8th, 2025, 4:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.m., Hilton Garden Inn, Ferris Ballroom, Troy, NY 12180

The hooding ceremony is a unique recognition of the achievement of each student who has earned a doctorate. Each doctoral candidate is introduced individually during the ceremony. They will have their hood placed on them while standing on the stage in the concert hall.
