Rensselaer will hold its Bicentennial Commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 8:30 a.m. in the East Campus Athletic Village Stadium. I'm writing to invite you to join us as a member of the stage party.

 Academic Regalia
You may use your own academic regalia or the Office of University Events can order regalia for you, free of charge. Regalia is obtained from an outside company, thus the deadline to place an order is Friday, March 1. Whether or not you order regalia, please complete the online form so that we will know if you are planning to attend the ceremony.

 The Ph.D. hooding ceremony will take place on Friday, May 17. Stay tuned for more details. If you have a Ph.D. student and plan to attend the Ph.D. hooding exercise, you must order regalia.

Regalia will be available for pickup prior to the hooding ceremony as well as Commencement.

Parking
Parking will be available in the Parking Garage with shuttle service to and from the East Campus Athletic Village.

The President’s Picnic for the Graduates
Immediately following the Commencement ceremony, there will be a campus-wide picnic for graduates, their guests, and the campus community. You are encouraged to join us for this celebration.
